Dr. Suzette Dibblee

Dr. Suzette Dibblee

Dr. Suzette Dibblee, a native of Halifax, received her BSc at Dalhousie University. She then attended the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI and graduated in 1998 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Dr. Dibblee enjoys all aspects of Veterinary medicine! She loves working with companion animals and has recently expanded her Veterinary services to include treatment of avian & exotic pets.

Dr. Adrienne Harris-Dain

Dr. Adrienne Harris-Dain

Dr. Adrienne Harris-Dain grew up in Sussex NB, attended the University of New Brunswick for her BSc., and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Her special interests include senior pets, general wellness, preventative medicine and surgery.

Dr. Harris-Dain enjoys extracurricular activities with her husband Jason, and two children Emma and Seth. She also has a golden retriever, Aspen, two cats, Zaboo and Charlee, two house rabbits, Streak and Stanley, one pet snail, Stripy, and one horse, August!

Dr Charlotte Ramey

Dr Charlotte Ramey

Dr Charlotte Ramey grew up on the South Shore of Nova Scotia and studied at Dalhousie University. Her background includes writing, music, and 4-H. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2015 from the University of Prince Edward Island, after which she relocated to Cape Breton. After two years of mixed animal practice treating everything from cats and dogs to horses and wildlife, she recently returned to Halifax in 2017 to join the team at Fairview Animal Hospital.

Charlotte’s primary interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, pain management, and anesthesia. She enjoys working at Fairview Animal Hospital as she has access to the best tools needed for top notch patient care and diagnostics.

In her off time, she is a proud aunt to her two nephews, Brady and Hayden, ‘mom’ to her two cats, Loki and Kuromi, and her horse, Coquette, and is a proud, self-described ‘geek’.

Melissa - RVT

Melissa - RVT

Melissa completed the Veterinary Assistant program at the Compu College in 2005, and began her career with the Fairview Animal Hospital in the fall of that year. She upgraded her status to RVT as of 2016.

Melissa's main passion is spending her free time at the barn riding her horse Bailey, as well as doing the odd horse shows on her weekends off. When she's at home it is spend with her handsome little boy, Kodah her cat.

Victoria - RVT

Victoria - RVT

Originally from Fredericton, NB, Victoria gained a love for working with animals after volunteering at the local SPCA. Volunteering quickly became a full-time role spanning nearly 5 years. In this role she gained a wealth of experience and cultivated an interest in the behavior and stress free handling of dogs.

Victoria went on to graduate the Veterinary Technician program at Oulton College in 2017 and was the proud recipient of the EVTA award for excellence and professionalism in her field of study. Post graduation, she completed her on-the-job training term, and joined the Fairview team. In her new RVT role Victoria hopes to pursue a specialty in exotic animal medicine or dog behavior.

In her spare time, Victoria loves walking her two dogs; Chase and Callie, in Shubie Park and other walking trails throughout the HRM. She loves going to the beach, traveling and spending time with her long term boyfriend, Dylan.

Charlene - RVT

Charlene - RVT

Charlene grew up in Calgary AB where she began her animal nursing career in emergency and feline specialty medicine in 1995. She is a graduate of the Animal Health Technician Program, Olds Alberta. Charlene has been fortunate to incorporate her fondness of exploring new cities with her love of animal medicine. She is the lead RVT at Fairview Animal Hospital but you can also find her lending a hand at our sister clinics (Halifax Veterinary Hospital and Spryfield Animal Hospital). Her role includes diverse animal nursing, team procedure organization, management liaison, and inventory control. Charlene has a particular interest in diagnostic medicine - specifically ultrasound. Away from her Fairview Animal Hospital family, Charlene loves spending her time with her husband and 2 sons. One of her favorite hobbies is reading a great book on any of the lovely beaches nearby -- oh, and visiting the local coffee shop.

Erin - VA

Erin - VA

Erin graduated from the Veterinary Administrative Assistant course in Oct. 2010 and started her career with Fairview Animal Hospital. She has always had an interest in Veterinary medicine with her primary interest being client education and awareness.

Erin also enjoys time at home, which she shares with her future husband Andrew and their fur kids Domino, Nala and Midnight.

Julia - VA

Julia (Jules) began her career in the veterinary field in 1998. After a year she decided to make a career out of what she loved best – educating people with pets! Julia graduated from Maritime Business College in 2000 with a Veterinary Assistant Diploma. Julia joined the Client Relations Team at the Fairview Animal Hospital in August of 2010.

In her spare time Julia enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the great outdoors. She also loves being greeted by her four-legged fur-babies, four cats named; Riley-Bear, Bailey, Big Boy and Tucker.

Julia is excited to be working in such a team-based environment and looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Kaitlin - CRS/Kennel Assistant

Kaitlin - CRS/Kennel Assistant

Kaitlin first started at Fairview Animal Hospital as a co-op student through her high school. After graduating from High School, she was then hired as Kennel Assistant at both the Fairview and Halifax locations. Kaitlin took a year off from continuing school, and worked full time. She is currently working part time and attending Saint Mary’s University for a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. In school she is studying archaeology and history. Animals have also been an important part of Kaitlin's life, and views this job as a way to help animals, and in many ways, help their owners/people too.

Outside of working and schooling, Kaitlin loves being active, whether it's camping, or staying inside with a good book. At home she spends free time with Izzy, her very fluffy Himalayan fur-baby.

Sharon - RVT

Sharon - RVT

Sharon graduated from the U. of Guelph with an honors B.Sc. Degree in Zoology, and then in 1993 she graduated from Cariboo College in Kamloops, BC with an Animal Health Technology diploma. She then returned to Ontario for a few years before moving east to Nova Scotia, working at a number of veterinary clinics along the way. She started with the Halifax Veterinary Group in 2013. She also works weekends at the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic.

Her most memorable experience as a technician was in 2012 when she volunteered with the Canadian Animal Assistance Team, participating in a spay/neuter/vaccine clinic in Nunavut for 9 days.

Her free time is spent with her 5 rescued cats (Gizmo, Gremlin, Alf, Magic, and Merlin) and with her dog, Angie.

Arlene - RVT

Arlene - RVT

Arlene’s career began with Dr. Ainslie in 1988, one year after obtaining her Animal Science from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. She received her RVT designation in 2016.

Arlene`s household consists of one cherished cat named Leonard. In the summer she enjoys sailing on her boat with her husband. She is a proud Cape Bretoner and hopes to retire there one day.

Hannah R - VA/OPN

Hannah graduated from the Eastern College with a diploma in Veterinary Administrative/Assistant program in the fall of 2013 and joined the Fairview Animal Hospital in the summer of 2013 after having done a work placement with us. She's' been in vet medicine for 3 1/2 years and have had the pleasure of working with a great and wonderful team. She has a special interest in exotic/avian care and loves to work with Dr.Dibblee as her OPN.

In her spare time she gets the joy of being with my pug Zoey, a husky/Shepard named Harley, and an Alexandrian Parakeet named Nick. She enjoys taking the dogs on walks and hikes and spending time on the South Shore with family, friends, and at the cottage.

Hannah P - VT

Hannah P - VT

Hannah graduated from Maritime Business college in December 2015 with a diploma in veterinary technology. You can find her on the front desk greeting you, in the exam room or out back in treatment!

Her fur family consists of her rescue dog Paco and her two kitties Bodi and Tinkerbell.

In her spare time you can find her at the beach or find her snuggled up with the fur babies watching Netflix!

Malory - RVT

Malory - RVT

Malory grew up in Victoria-by-the-sea, Prince Edward Island where she attended UPEI and obtained her BSc in Biology and Psychology before attending Dalhousie’s Veterinary Technology program in Truro, NS. She graduated from the program in 2017 and began working at the Fairview Animal Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys adventuring outside, cooking, painting and crafts. She has made Halifax her home along with her boyfriend, Gregory and their rescue kitty, Ruby.

Tricia - RVT

Tricia - RVT

Tricia graduated with her veterinary technician diploma in NB back in 2005. After years of experience and hard work, she got her RVT status in 2015. Lots of animals have stolen her heart over the years. Some who she's taken in as her own and others she's seen as patients. One memory she holds dear is a night she slept in a dog run with a baby cow. While she is only part time now her heart can't let go of what she loves.

Erika graduated from the Veterinary Administrative/Assistant Program at CompuCollege and has been in the industry since 2006. Recently joining the Fairview Team in May of 2017. Her special interests in the Veterinary world are feline friendly practice and feline behavior.

She spends her free time with her husband, 2 children,orange cat named Huck, and her part-time black lab Sky.

Amy

Amy

Amy, otherwise referred to as “Princess”, was born at the Fairview Animal Hospital on September 9th, 2001. After having been unsuccessfully adopted out on several occasions, the Fairview Animal Hospital became her forever home.

Amy loves spending her time basking in the morning sun at the front door, sitting on the front desk observing her domain and greeting clients and their fur-kids. When Amy is not around, she can be found getting her beauty sleep in a comfy corner ‘somewhere’.
