Brittany - RVT

Brittany joined the team at Halifax Veterinary Hospital in 2012 after graduating with honors from the Veterinary Technician program at Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Growing up she was surrounded by animals, both large and small, and always knew she wanted to work in the profession of helping our companions who cannot speak for themselves.
When she's not working Brittany enjoys attending shows by local musicians, training for her next race, as well as spending time with friends and family, especially her nephews. She is owned by Duke, a rescue kitty she adopted while in school.

Emily - VT

I became a veterinary technician because I always knew I wanted to work in the veterinary profession, even as a little kid. As I grew up I realized that being a vet tech would be perfect for me! I love providing nursing care! My goal with every patient and client is to make them feel that their needs were attended to in a compassionate, efficient and professional manner. My family consist of my partner Chris, my two cats - Carlos and Ellie, and Jahn the dog!

My mantra in life is:  "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix

When I am not at work, my hobbies include hiking, playing guitar, and spending time with my partner and our fur family.

Kyle – CRS/OPN

I entered the veterinary field with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. I instead discovered that I enjoy the management side of things and am exploring my potential in this aspect of the clinic. Clear communication is my goal with every patient visit. You'll often hear me reiterating the goals of the appointment before I grab the doctor or having the doctor touch on a topic I had discussed to allow owners the best chance to have their concerns addressed. My family consists of my mother Brandy and my stepfather Sean as well as my babysister Olivia. I aspire to be like Arizona Robbins from Grey's Anatomy and her mantra of "I am living sunshine!"

My immediate family consists of Fred (my partner), his two sons Jamie and Tyler, their spouses Stephanie and Alica (respectively), my two sons Tristan and Joshua, my three grandkids Ava, Tegan and Hunter, and my furkids Mr.Moo and Kevin. My mantra in life is to live in the present, learn from the past and look forward to the future.
